Happy New Year and a big thank you to all of our guests who stayed and fished with us in 2022. As we head into a brand new year we are looking forward to a great 2023 fishing season, starting with springtime sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River.

2023 will bring us many fishing opportunities here on the Fraser River and on our local tributaries. The best sturgeon fishing in the world is on the Fraser River, just outside Vancouver, Canada. As the weather starts to change in early March towards warmer and longer days, the Sturgeon become increasingly active.

During the spring time months Eulachons leave the salt water and start to spawn on the lower Fraser River. Eulachons are a delicacy for Sturgeon and during this time Sturgeon are full of energy with large jumps and provide plenty of aggressive rod action.
