Cook
Your role would be varied including working breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts. You are a valuable member of our kitchen team. Once you are trained up you will be able to work independently while maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties; this includes hearing and understanding specific instructions from Chef
- Banquet prep cooking
- Lunch and dinner cooking
- Pack-to-go meals
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces etc.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Must be a team player and have great communication skills
- Ability to work alone.
- Can handle being under pressure while staying calm
- Able to lift and carry 50lbs
- Understanding of proper food rotation and storage
- An understanding of dietary restrictions, food allergies and an ability to create meals accordingly
Lead Maintenance Worker
Fraser River Lodge is seeking an experienced and well-rounded Lead Maintenance Worker to oversee property management and building maintenance. This is a full-time position that requires strong independence, vast experience in repairs and systems (e.g., septic), and the ability to work with a small team effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Oversight: Plan, organize, and execute maintenance tasks, ensuring all areas of the Lodge are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Team Supervision: Supervise activities, projects, and event setup/takedown, adapting to seasonal business demands.
- Repairs and Upkeep: Perform in-house repairs and oversee machinery maintenance, grass care, and water systems (e.g., sample water submissions, flush irrigation lines).
- Vendor Coordination: Assist with organizing subcontractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Animal Care: Assist with overseeing the well-being and care of animals, including feeding bison using a tractor and maintaining the health and proper care of a small flock of chickens.
- Grounds and Equipment: Maintain grounds, including grass cutting, landscaping and walkway safety.
- System Monitoring: Ensure security cameras and systems are operational.
- Emergency Response: Address emergency maintenance issues promptly.
- Professional Conduct: Represent the Lodge professionally and calmly when interacting with staff, management, and guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property and building maintenance.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with a small team effectively.
- Competence in machinery operation and maintenance (e.g., tractors, lawn care equipment).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and seasonal demands.

Housekeeper
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment for our clients. Your attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
- Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, appliances, and dishes
- Change and launder bed linens and towels
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies
- Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy
- Assist with other household tasks as needed
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (if required)

Assistant Wedding Coordinator

We offer team-building activities, meeting spaces & amazing gourmet food. So, whether we’re hosting a wedding, retreat, conference or Christmas Party, it takes a talented team to take care of all the details. That’s where you come in. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Proven wedding or event planning experience for a minimum of 2 years, would be preferred but not necessary
- Full Driver’s License
- Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to discuss their needs and wants and find a package that suits them
- Wedding/Corporate tours of the facility for potential clients

- Comprehensive Computer Knowledge- Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, quick learner with a personalized database
