Annalise & Jeff Labalestra

July 6, 2024

Jeff and Annalise’s wedding was a day filled with intention, connection, and effortless celebration. With guests traveling from across the country, their wedding wasn’t just about the two of them—it was about bringing together the people who mattered most in a setting that felt just right. From the first conversations about their vision to the final moments of the night, every detail came together seamlessly.

It was a day that felt both elegant and personal, with moments that stood out not because they were grand, but because they were meaningful. The care they put into making their guests feel welcomed, the way they embraced every part of the day, and the energy that carried through until the early hours—it all made for a wedding that truly reflected who they are. We’re grateful to have been part of it and to have helped create a setting where their story could unfold.

Jeff and Annalise’s wedding day on July 6th, 2024 at Fraser River Lodge was nothing short of magical. With 100 out of 130 wedding guests travelling from Ontario, FRL’s breathtaking mountain backdrop provided the perfect setting. Their day started with an exchange of thoughtful letters and meaningful gifts. The bridal parties, 6 on each side, celebrated with champagne as Rose Quartz Beauty did the girl’s makeup. Mo & Co Events and Joyful Events flawlessly planned the wedding. Macleans and Cardsy Creative captured every moment through photography and videography.  The outdoor ceremony featured a rose-filled aisle and a stunning flower arch of greenery and reflexed roses with blue delphinium, crafted by AJR Designs. This arch framed Mount Cheam in the background perfectly.  Officiant, Jim Haslett, began with a personalized introduction, followed by an emotional reading from the bride’s 91-year-old grandmother, Loretta, who took her first flight ever to come to the wedding. The vows, full of laughter and intimacy, were the highlight of the day. Post-ceremony, guests indulged in an array of hors d'oeuvres- The freshly shucked oysters and bacon-wrapped scallops were a hit, setting the tone for the dinner to come. The cocktail wall offered a selection of the couple’s favorite beverages, while the champagne tower added an elegant touch to the evening's festivities. As the sun set, the reception moved indoors, where a beautifully decorated space by Valley Weddings awaited everyone. Each table showcased Baby Breath centerpieces and 130 personalized notes penned to each guest, reflecting on the bride and groom's relationship with them. Heartfelt speeches from friends and family added joy. After the sparkler send-off, everyone danced until 1AM with music from IDJ services and continued the party at the Airbnb onsite until sunrise. Our wedding day at Fraser River Lodge was the epitome of perfection, a day that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
