Tying Instructions:
Get a Pheasant tail handy, because you'll need a lot of it for this fly.
1) Tie in several fibers of pheasant tail at the beginning of the hook for tail.  Tail should be approximately half the length of the hook shank.
2) Tie in pheasant tail for body, with tips extended back over tail.
3) Tie in your copper ribbing, and then wrap the pheasant tail forward, just past the half way point of the hook shank.
4) Next wrap the copper ribbing forward over the pheasant tail body.
5) Tie in more pheasant tail for the wingcase, with tips extending back over body.
6) Tie in 2 or 3 strands of peacock herl for thorax and wrap forward, leaving enough room to tie in wings and wingcase.
7) Tie in several pheasant tail fibers on either side for wings. Tips should extend to end of thorax.
8) Pull wingcase forward and tie off, and whip finish.
