| Tying
Instructions: 1) Slide medium gold bead on to hook then place the hook into fly vice. 2) Wrap thread to bend of hook and tie in gold wire. 3) Spin hares ear dubbing on to thread with fingers. 4) Wrap dubbing forward to just before gold bead. Make a slight taper in the body. 5) Tie in gray partridge by its tips at gold bead. 6) Place other end of partridge in hackle pliers and make 2 wraps and secure with thread. 7) Whip finish, and head cement.
