"We have just returned from our annual company fishing adventure and we wanted to let you know we greatly appreciate the hospitality. From the exceptional care we were given at the guest house, the excellent meals and the outstanding fishing, we are sure to return.
Also I can't say enough about your guides, we have been on quite a few of these trips and have seen guides that have rated from poor to good. The Fraser River Fishing Team is top notch.
Keep up the good work."

"It's been a couple of weeks since my son and I returned from our visit to the Frazier River. We can't stop talking about the good times we had. The folks at the lodge were great and our stay at the guest house could not have been better. Pam was a delight and the hot tub sure felt good after a day of hauling in sockeye, springs and sturgeon. Our guide was the highlight of the trip in many ways. Steve's love for the river and valley were evident and his craft at fishing smoothed the way for these novices to have our best ever fishing experience.

Our friends turn green when we haul out the photos of my son's 30 lb King and 80 lb sturgeon...and I get a rush out of bragging on my 38 lb bad boy. But for all of our bragging it was Steve who patiently helped us get up and running (or at least casting knee deep in the river current) and made sure to get the boat in action to ensure that every fish hooked got to shore.
Thanks again for a memorable vacation...we will be back."

"Your advertisement underestimates the actual fishing experience that is provided by your staff, from the Lodge to the guides on the river. Our four day vacation at your lodge was a fantastic experience; everyone associated with your lodge puts forth a 130% percent effort. The meals were scrumptious and the atmosphere at the Lodge was like being among long lost friends. The guides on the river were patient and superb technicians of explaining the fishing techniques, for each specie!
I have been recuperating since January from a quadruple heart by-pass, a wire in the sternum broke and I had to be rewired. The 2nd time they wired my sternum, I contacted a staph infection and was on an anti-biotic for 6 weeks.
My wife and I read about your lodge on the internet and it looked like the right place for a little rest and relaxation. The whole time we spent at your lodge Aug 19th thru 22nd, 2002, was very relaxing and when I told the guides I needed a little help, because I had not gained all my strength back yet, they helped us catch our limit of sockeye, catch and release many sturgeon, I also caught my limit of spring salmon, with one spring salmon weighing in at 35 lbs.
I applaud all of your guides, especially Kevin and John; they were like fishing with good buddies.

John and I were masters of the river for two days and his knowledge of the spring salmon made an experience, I will never forget.
I am looking forward to bringing some friends in next year for a wonderful time at your lodge.
Thank Phil for his excellent guidance and Brian for a fantastic job, of preparing our catch for taking home! We thank you Frank for taking time from your busy schedule to make sure we were all happy and content."

| They came 5000 miles
to catch this King |
I took two older gentlemen, great fishing partners, from overseas for King fishing. One of them hooked into a large King salmon. He barely managed to reel in while walking with the fish downstream. So that he wouldn't fall in the river, his buddy came to help hold him up. Meanwhile, I was in the river, trying to net the fish. After 45 long minutes, they were able to land the fish, but both old friends were totally out of breath and exhausted. One of them grabbed my hand, looked me in the eyes and said: "Thank you, Frank ... thank you very much. We traveled over 5000 miles to come here. We had hopes of getting a fish that big once in our lives… and we did it!"

"We found sincere warmth and friendliness here, and we were so well looked
after during our stay."
Tom
and Pam Atwater, mom and sister Jan.
As soon as I saw the picture of the lodge on the web site I was hooked. My mother’s eightieth birthday was coming up and she wanted to do something with each child, one on one. She has loved fishing since she was about seven and we have gone together several times as adults. When my younger sister found out about my plans to go salmon fishing with mom she joined the party. Then my wife, who doesn’t enjoy fishing as much as the rest of us, couldn’t be left behind. When the day arrived, Pam and I flew to Vancouver, a beautiful sight, and drove the short distance to the lodge. Along the way we passed many vineyards, next trip Pam wouldn’t mind having a day to do some tasting, and arrived an hour before sunset at the log style lodge.
As we were stretching beside the rental car we heard mom’s familiar voice cheering our arrival. The volume of her whooping alerted us to the fact that she and Janet, my sister, had done some tasting at the vineyards along their route coming from the east. They had driven up from Spokane, Washington, and were overwhelmed by the beauty. That’s a trip I want to take next year. When we reached the top of the steps to the second floor deck overlooking the Fraser River and some steep mountains on the other side, Jan came running up with hugs for all. The party had begun.
We had some good beer, good wine and lots of stories shared by family and new friends from around the world. The setting sun was our call to a wonderful dinner and rollicking laughter. Bedtime came too soon and a little later than would have been prudent.
We were up an hour before day light, had a hearty breakfast and introduced ourselves to our first day’s guide. None of us were experienced fly fishermen and it didn’t matter. With our waders on we wallowed into the comfortably cool river that was teeming with salmon all around us. It was amazing, fish jumping and breaking the surface everywhere you looked. Jan and I were a little more experienced than mom and Pam but we all caught fish that first day and learned technique from our trusty guide.
Each day was a little different. Different guides, we liked them all, different fishing tactics and locations, even a bonus ride down the river for some sightseeing. Our one mistake the first day was not bringing some beer. The second day we remedied that and went bar fishing, relaxing in folding chairs and drinking lots of beer, I loved it. We caught our limit of Kings with time left to go after some Pinks from the back of the boat with jigs. While bringing in a nice Pink, I stepped onto the back platform of the boat to go around to the other side because the fish had decided to avoid capture by swimming over there. Big splash and wild laughter. The first thing I did after surfacing was hand our guide the pole so he could continue the fight, didn’t want to lose the fish or the expensive tackle. When he saw that I was fine we both cut loose with the jokes and laughs. I crawled back in and we all continued to fish for another hour.
The final day little sis was amazing. She must have hooked fifty salmon according to our guide. Almost all were released but it was something to watch. By that afternoon Pam surprised me by saying “I want to do this again”. We will, thanks to all the guides, staff, and to you Frank. See you next year.
